Allan M. Bryant

Allan M. Bryant attended the University of Florida and the City University of New York. He first entered the metal specialty field when employed at the A.R. Nelson Company in Long Island City, New York. In 1975 he went out on his own to form a company involved in the on-site repair of lockers.

During this period, immediately following the Arab oil embargo, steel prices soared resulting in inflated locker prices. He felt that with the current economic climate, it would be beneficial to repair instead of replace. As a result, he developed a number of on-site services including alternate latching mechanisms for older locker models.

Mr. Bryant has a series of repair publications, developed over the years, which will be made available at this web site. Some of these files include information on laying out a locker area, various types of repair services and how to select one that fits your needs, and a survey discussing the merits of poly-urethane over epoxy.
