ONSITE LOCKER REFINISHING

 

 

 

 

 

Do the lockers in your facility need a new facelift? Choose from one of the refinishing configurations listed below.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Specifications

All locks, number plates and door operating hardware to be removed or completely masked prior to painting.
All surfaces to be refinished will be sanded and washed with a proper agent to remove all foreign substances including: dirt, grease, oil and wax.
All adjacent areas such as floors, walls and ceilings will be thoroughly masked.
All rusted or bare areas will be primed with Multi-Prime by PPG or approved equal. The balance of the surfaces to be refinished will receive a light dusting of primer to assure proper adherence of finish.
A durable, vandal-resistant two part poly urethane (Pitthane by PPG or approved equal) will be applied using an HVLP method. If the surface to be refinished has been previously recoated, a heavy duty industrial enamel will be used (Fast Dry Industrial Enamel by PPG).
Refinish specified areas.
Locker Refinishing-1: Exterior surfaces and outside edge of door.
Locker Refinishing-2: Exterior surfaces & back of door.
Locker Refinishing-3: Exterior & interior surfaces.
When finish is dry, all masking materials will be carefully removed.
Reinstall locks and door operating hardware. Adjust and lubricate to provide smooth operation.
Install new number plates. Numbering sequence to be determined by owner (up to 4 letters or characters on each plate).
All work will be accomplished on site with no interruption to class sessions. If necessary, work can be performed at nights or on weekends at no extra charge to the owner.
Onsite Locker Refinishing carries a two (2) year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Any defects becoming apparent, under normal use, within said period will be corrected to the owner’s satisfaction free of charge.
